2018 OHSLA Player of the Year

June 4th

The 2018 OHSLA Player of the Year is Jesuit"s Sam Handley.

Sam is a senior attackman at Jesuit High School.  Starting in 2016, he was first team Metro All-Conference, first team OHSLA All-State, and OHSLA US Lacrosse All American for three straight years, compiling 421 points (213 goals, 208 assists) in his career at Jesuit.  Even missing four games this season Sam was able to win a spot as an All-American.  Sam's large frame enabled him to dominate in the open field, forcing opponents' defenses to adopt specifically to his presence on the field.

Next year Sam will attend University of Pennsylvania (Penn) where he has signed to play lacrosse at the Division I level.
