2016 Oregon Lax Civil War

It's that time of the year again and this year Oregon's two MCLA D-I teams are playing for the regular season championship of the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League (PNCLL) and a spot in the MCLA playoffs for the national championship. 

The Beavers are undefeated in the PNCLL (6-0) and are looking to closeout the season in first place with a victory over the Ducks.  The Ducks have a 5-1 PNCLL record, but come to the game ranked higher nationally than the Beavers thanks to a road victory over MCLA powerhouse Colorado State.  The Ducks are 9th in Polls (LaxPower ranking 16th) and the Beavers are 15th (20th on LaxPower).  As in recent years both teams are stocked with former OHSLA players, in fact all but 4 of OSU's 45 players played in the OHSLA while over 40% of the U of O players (16/39) are Oregon bred. 

Admission will be $5 for Adults and $3 for students and concessions will feature barbequed burgers and dogs.  Parking will be the same as for the Fritz Hayes classic (see below).
