2016 OHSLA Player of the Year

June 9th

 

The 2016 OHSLA Player of the Year is Brooks Dutton, goalie for Lakeridge. 

Brooks is a senior at Lakeridge High School and a 4 year varsity player.  Lakeridge Honor Roll 2016, OHSLA US Lacrosse All American, First Team OHSLA All-State Team and Three Rivers All-Conference for 2015 & 2016.

Next year Brooks will attend Sacred Heart University in Connecticut where he has signed to play lacrosse at the Division I level.

2016 OHSLA Sportsmanship Award

June 9th

 

The OHSLA Sportsmanship award is given to annually to an OHSLA Club.  The criteria for the award is: 

The honor is awarded by the OHSLA to the team that best exhibits outstanding attitude, conduct, and overall good sportsmanship for the season. 

For 2016 the award goes to Beaverton.  To the right is Beaverton Club President Jim Olsen accepting the award on behalf of the Club.  right arrow

OHSLA 2016 All-Conference

This year there will be two events in which All-Conference players will be eligible to participate: the first Annual OHSLA AllStar Game and the OHSLA All-Star Tourney in Sisters this year June 18th & 19th.  Players who are interested in participating are encouraged to visit the interest sign-up pages for both events (that will be available soon) so that coaches know that they are available to play.
