Update to Online Scheduling
April 4th, 2021
Online scheduling for Varsity games has been extended until Sunday night, April 4th.
Some other things to note:
- As per OHA and OSAA guidelines, the OHSLA has adopted a no interstate games policy for 2021 season.
This means no OHSLA sanctioned games outside of Oregon and no non-OHSLA teams should be invited to
play in Oregon.
- In order to get more playing time for younger players as well as players who were unable to play
last year, the 5 quarter rule (5 quarters per day) has been expanded to six quarters for
the 2021 season.
Even if clubs do not have a full roster for a JV team, the hope is that they can still schedule JV games
by utilizing more of their JV roster.
Junior Varsity is for player development.
That is why scores are not recorded on the site and there is the ability for players, who may not get
time on Varsity games, to play down.
- The OHLSA board is also receptive to clubs that would like to arrange JV Jamborees where teams play
two games per day, with a shorter game time.
Note that, while the game times for these games may be shorter, officiating fees for these games will
be the same, so the home team should vary on the schedule to "spread the wealth".
Coaches should update the Club information on their home pages with new Club officers
and Treasurer information so that the OHSLA can contact the clubs easily.
Also not that Team Certifications were due March 29th, please get this information to
